PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device requiring no maintenance for a long period, allowing upper and lower positions to be detected at a high accuracy, and mountable on a vehicle. SOLUTION: This elevator device is provided with a base board 1, a loading board 2, a supporting part 3 to support the loading board 2 movable up and down, and an actuator 14 in order to move the loading board 2 up and down. In this case, an arm member 5 with one end rotatably supported at a point of the base board 1, and the other end rotatably supported at a point of the loading board 2, and an arm member 4 with one end rotatably supported to a point of the loading board 2, and the other end movably supported to the base board 1, are crossed, and the supporting part 3 is composed by providing the arm members fixed rotatable each other at the above crossing point, to both side parts of the base board 1 and the loading board 2. A position detecting device 12 is provided to detect the position of the loading board 2, by moving the loading board 2 up and down by operating the actuator 14 to the arm member 4 or 5.
