<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily updatable vehicle information which is stored in the memory of an onboard equipment main body and is to be the important one in the case of paying a toll from a vehicle side on a toll road when a vehicle kind is changed by the purchase of a new vehicle by a user to replace the vehicle having been used, for example. SOLUTION: Vehicle information stored in the memory 80 of on-vehicle equipment 6 is updated into updating vehicle information which is stored in an IC card 16 when vehicle information obtained by judgement by a vehicle judging device 22 from the actual condition information of the vehicle 20 mounting on-vehicle equipment 6, which is vehicle height and length or the like, coincides with vehicle information stored in the memory 80 of the equipment 6 and also when updating vehicle information stored in the IC card 16 which is freely attachable/detachable to/from the main body of the equipment 6 coincides with the one obtained by judging the vehicle 20 mounting on-vehicle equipment 6 by the device 22. Thus, the IC card being conveniently carried is utilized so that vehicle information stored in the memory 80 of the main body of the equipment 6 can be easily updated.</p> |
