<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an engineer to perform complicated operation, e.g. calibrate, correct, and connect a device in a process control system in process control environment. SOLUTION: The mount type computer includes a central processing unit 50, a memory 52, peripheral devices 44, 42, 40, and 38, and a remote communication device 36 which communicates with a host computer. The mount type computer gives information regarding more than one device in the process control system through a head-up display. The mount type computer containes a routine for automatically discriminating a process controller in the visual field of a wearing person according to device features like a device tag by processing a video camera image, a routine for enabling the wearing person to confirm the device in the process control system and/or the correct connection of a communication channel, a routine for displaying a common image on both the head-up display and an operator workstation display device, and a routine for storing voice messages regarding the device in the process control system and automatically retrieving them.</p> |
