摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the consumption of a battery when a heater is energized before an internal-combustion engine is started in a control apparatus, for the heater of an air-fuel ratio sensor, which is provided with a function to energize the heater of the air-fuel ratio sensor before the engine is started. SOLUTION: A catalytic converter 60 and a catalytic converter 62 are installed respectively in the exhaust passage 54 and the exhaust passage 56 of an internal-combustion engine 10. A catalytic converter 68 is installed in an exhaust pipe 58 in which the exhaust passages 54, 56 join. A first air-fuel ratio sensor 64 and a first air-fuel ratio sensor 66 as limiting current-type oxygen sensors are installed on the upstream side of the catalytic converters 60, 62. A second air-fuel ratio sensor 70 as a concentration cell-type oxygen sensor is installed on the downstream side of the catalytic converter 68. An ECU 12 starts an energizing operation regarding the second air-fuel ratio sensor 70 whose activation temperature is low when the start of the engine is anticipated by unlocking a door.
