摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a non-full dot liquid crystal display device using a ferroelectric liquid crystal or antiferroelectric liquid crystal. SOLUTION: A light-shielding film 2 consisting of a light-shielding resin layer having >=1012Ω/unit sq. insulation resistance and >=2.0 optical density(OD) per 1μm thickness is applied in the region except for the display pattern on the inner face of a liquid crystal panel. In the region corresponding to the display pattern, a light-transmitting resin layer 3 having >=102Ω/unit sq. insulation resistance is applied. Further, a transparent electrode 9 for direct driving is formed on these resin layers.
