PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the reliability by increasing the clamping force of a leader pin of a magnetic tape tip section. SOLUTION: A magnetic tape cartridge is provided with a cartridge case that stores a single reel, to which a magnetic tape 6 is wound, in a freely rotatable manner. In order to fix a leader pin 5 for pulling out the tape 6 to the tip of the tape 6 by elastically fitting a clamp member 55 having a C-shaped section to the pin 5, a sheet member 8 is provided at least between the tape 6 and a tape clamp section 51 to increase the friction coefficient between the tape 6 and the pin 5 and the clamping force is increased.
