PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pickup device for an optical disk for suppressing the inclination of a lens holder while maintaining the sufficient displacement state in a focusing direction and a tracking direction. SOLUTION: A pickup device is provided with wire springs 21a-21f for supporting a lens holder 4 for holding an objective lens 1 so that the lens holder can be displaced along a focusing direction and a tracking direction, and the wire springs 21a-21f are arranged as two pairs of at least three in each pair in parallel. At least one wire spring 21a and 21d among three or more wire springs have cross-sectional shapes whose spring constants in the focusing direction Y and the tracking direction Z are different, and those wire springs 21a and 21d are arranged at positions farther from a central axis A of the objective lens 1 than the other wire springs 21b, 21c, 21e, and 21f, or positions closer to the central axis.
