Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a process for producing a rubber composition, comprising mixing rubber with silica, an amide and a mixture of a phenolic resin and a hardener; (2) a process for producing a rubber composition, comprising mixing rubber with silica, an amide, a phenolic resin and a hardener.
