PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantaneously recognize the contents themselves of image data obtained by image pickup or the result of executing simple corrections to the image data and to utilize them for the next image pickup in the display device of an electronic camera system. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an attaching/detaching mechanism provided on a case body and freely attachable and detachable to/from the case body of an electronic camera device, an Ir light receiving window 205 for receiving data picked up by the electronic camera device and image processing instruction information, both as light, a storage means for storing the image data received by the light receiving window 205, a display LCD 203 for displaying the image data stored in the storage means and an image processing means for converting the image data stored in the storage means and writing them in the storage many corresponding to the image processing instruction information received as light by the Ir light receiving window 205.
