<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a ball lamp operating type clutch from being disengaged when input torque is reversed. SOLUTION: This ball lamp mechanism 11, which involves a control ring 14 which acts to apply tightening force to a driving clutch 2 along with an operating ring 12, rotates the control ring 14 against the operating ring in such a direction as the ball lamp mechanism 11 is operated further using a planetary gear set 39 which activates a one-way clutch between a sun gear 40 and a planetary gear 42 engaging with it. The planetary gear set 39 is locked by a one-way clutch 46 at the driving mode of a vehicle. At an inertial mode, the planetary gear set 39 rotates the control ring 14 through a coil pole 32 in such a direction as the ball lamp mechanism 11 is operated further by releasing the one-way clutch 46.</p> |
