PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust from being mixed into the air being diffused for both floor type and wall type air cleaners by an arrangement wherein an air inlet has an inlet face inclining at a specified angle against a horizontal plane in the first plane of a housing and an air outlet inclining at a specified angle against a horizontal plane is provided in the second plane of the housing. SOLUTION: An air inlet 2 is provided in the upper surface of an air cleaner while an air outlet 3 is provided at a lower part thereof and the upper surface including the air inlet face 9 is inclining at an angle of 10-30 deg. against the back face 18 side of the air cleaner 1. In case of a floor type air cleaner 1, the delivery air 8 is delivered upward at an angle of 10-30 deg. against a horizontal plane. Furthermore, the suction air 8 is directed upward at an angle of 10-30 deg., the air inlet 2 is inclining rearward at an angle of 10-30 deg. and the intersection angle of the delivery air 8 and the suction air 7 is sustained substantially at 90 deg.. |
