PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photosensitive heat developable image forming material having high activity for photographic plate making and medical imaging and having excellent storage property by incorporating photosensitive silver halides, reducible silver salts, a reducing agent, a binder and plural specified compounds into at least one plane on a support. SOLUTION: At least one plane of the support contains photosensitive silver halides, reducible silver salts, a reducing agent, a binder and at least one kind of the compounds expressed by formula I and formula II, and a compound expressed by formula III. In formulae I, II, each of Z1 and Z2 represents a nonmetal atomic group which can form a five- to seven- member ring including itself, each of Y1 and Y2 is -C(=O)- or -SO2-, each of X1 and X2 is a hydroxy group (or its salt), alkoxy group or the like, and Y3 is a hydrogen atom or substituent. In formula III, Z is an alkyl group or heterocyclic group and M is a hydrogen atom, metal atom or organic cation.
