DECONTAMINATION METHOD FOR RUBBER SHOES AND RUBBER SHOES FIXING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination method for removing without damaging the rubber material, reducing a load of worker by decontaminating the rubber shoes because of no-needs of protection wear (anorak) or a protection tool (full face mask), etc. SOLUTION: Soft blast material is made abrasive and by blowing it using a soft blast device, the outer surface of rubber shoes contaminated with radioactive materials is decontaminated and washed. In executing this method, the fixing device of the rubber shoes has a nail tip support plate 2 attached to a support column stood on the stage rotatably between a horizontal position and a vertical position, and a heel part support plate 3 fixed to the two support columns stood on the support column stage in horizontal state. The nail part support plate 2 is energized with a spring 8 of which one end is attached to the support column so as to maintain horizontal position. The two support columns supporting the other heel part support plate 3 can move back and force and can be fixed at an arbitrary position.
