PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the corrosive reduction in wt. of a steel material of a structure as simply as possible. SOLUTION: In a method for measuring the corrosion rate of a weatherable steel material, a wedge-shaped test body 1 having the same steel material component and constitution as a structure comprising the steel material is prepared to be arranged to at least one place of the structure and the length change of the leading end portion exposed to the open air of the wedge-shaped test body 1 arranged to the structure is measured to measure the advance degree of the corrosion of the structure.
