PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance various performances including the mechanical performance and electrical characteristics employing a sheath type composite fibers comprising a core component of A polymer, and a sheath component comprising a sea component of B polymer and an island component of C polymer. SOLUTION: A plastic polymer, e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, may be added to a fused liquid crystal polyester being employed as A polymer. B polymer is a bendable themoplastic polymer including polyolefin preferably having fiber forming capability. Anti-fibrilation performance and mechanical performance are enhanced significantly by employing a sea island structure comprising the bendable themoplastic polymer and the fused liquid crystal polyester as a sheath component. A fused liquid crystal polyester similar to the A polymer may be employed as a C polymer. According to the arrangement, a basic material excellent in the mechanical performance and dimensional stability is produced and a printed wiring board excellent in uniformity and electrical characteristics is obtained while suppressing occurrence of resin free part.
