PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor high in sensitivity and low in residual potential and superior in repetition characteristics at the time of repeatedly used in an electrophotographic processes. SOLUTION: The electrphotographic photoreceptor is provided with a photosensitive layer containing, as a charge transfer material, enamine compounds represented by general formula I and II in which each of R1 and R2 is H atom or an alkyl or alkoxy group; each of X1 and X2 is a halogen atom; each of R3 and R7 is an alkyl or optionally substituted aryl or aralkyl group; each of R4 and R8 is H atom or a substituent; each of R5, R6, R9, and R10 is H or a halogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl or aryl or heterocyclic group, but each of R5 and R6, and each of R9 and R10 are not H atom at the same time; and each of (n) and (m) is 0, 1, or 2.
