摘要 A mold for forming articles (9) from thermoplastic film (4) has a stationary upper half (10) together with a lower half (11) that can be swung for unloading by a cam (21,22) and linkage (23,24,25,26) mechanism. The speed of the mechanism and the point at which it changes from fast to slow movement are controlled by vibration sensors (27,31) at the end points of the motion. An Independent claim is also included for such a mechanism with a controller for the drive that uses vibration signals from sensors (27,31) at the end points of the motion to limit the deflection, using previously determined parameters.
