The method involves casting holder (2) and base (3) elements with a connection arc (5) on a jaw model in one step. A ceramic holder (6) arranged between the holder and base elements completely separates the cast parts. Connection elements are made for a coupling part to connect both cast parts when the denture has been fitted, so that the ceramic holder can be removed to fit the denture and the cast parts can be fixed to the coupling part. An Independent claim is included for a ceramic holder for use in the method.
