In the stringed musical instrument, with one or more artificial strings (1), all or at least one of the strings are held in a common section between the yoke string support bridge (2) and yoke (3). The instrument bridge has a unified structure and a constant diameter. At least the yoke string support bridge has a sliding movement, to alter the length between it and the instrument bridge. The string is mounted by a ball-shaped thickening (4) at its end.
