<p>The method proposes that the operation of depositing micro-organisms present in an air sample on a layer of gel growth medium includes the operation of increasing, in a predetermined fashion, the rate at which the air is sucked in, in order to cause it to strike the layer of gel growth medium as a function of the volume of air already sucked in, with a view to compensating for the drying which decreases the ability of the gel growth medium to retain the micro-organisms present in the air striking it. The sampling apparatus includes suitable air suction means, for example means for controlling the speed of rotation of a motor driving a turbine, as a function of the number of rotations already effected by this motor. <IMAGE></p> |
