The axial movement regulation method has the actual axial movement of the turbine shaft (1) supplied to a regulator for controlling hydraulic regulating valves, determining the pressure within pressure chambers (13,14) on opposite sides of a pressure cam (2) attached to the turbine shaft, for opposing the axial ovement of the turbine shaft, to maintain its required axial position. An Independent claim for an axial movement regulation device is also included. |
