In a battery pack (1), pitfalls (4) are provided in the width direction of a rear surface lower portion of a portable phone main body (9). Projections (3) longer than the electrode pins (2) are provided in the width direction of a lower surface lower end portion of the battery pack (1) at the position corresponding to the pitfalls (4). Gaps (5) for guiding the projections (3) are provided in the width direction of the rear surface of the portable phone main body (9). In mounting the battery pack (1) in the portable phone, the projections (3) are contacted with the rear surface of the portable phone (9) so that the battery pack (1) slides to the lower side of the portable phone main body (9) with the projections (3) guided along the gaps (5). When the projections (5) drop in the pitfalls (4) after the tip of the battery pack passes above the pins (2), the pins (2) are forced against the electrode of the battery pack (1) according to the force of a spring so as to be connected electrically. |
