PURPOSE: An on-line duty free product purchasing system using a cable television and a method thereof are provided to facilitate purchasing duty free products using a cable network. CONSTITUTION: An on-line duty free product purchasing system using a cable television includes a hotel server(3), a cable television(21), a reservation validation member(41), a duty free product delivering member(61) and a server for duty free product seller(50). The hotel server(3) includes a network interface and is connected to Internet. The cable television(21) includes an input and a set top box, and is connected to the server. The reservation validation member(41) includes a controller, an input/output member, and a network interface and is connected to the server. The duty free product delivering member(61) includes a controller, an input/output member, and a network interface and is connected to the Internet. The server for duty free product seller(50) includes a controller, an input/output member, a storage, and a network interface and is connected to the Internet.
