PURPOSE: A method for providing information on a local life combining techniques of a one-click electronic map and a search engine, is provided for a user to use electronic commerce for local commerce of a service subscribing area, by constructing information on a map and local commerce and retrieving the information by the user, and to retrieve a related site easily by constructing a retrieving function for a site related to a corresponding business category in an equal web page. CONSTITUTION: A method for providing information on a local life combining techniques of a one-click electronic map and a search engine, comprises the steps as follows. A service subscriber is connected to a web server providing information on a local life. A business category demanded by the service subscriber is inputted and an electronic map constructing the corresponding business category is output with one click. A business category in the electronic map is selected and electronic commerce is performed. The method further comprises the steps as follows. When the service subscriber is not satisfied with the business category, sites related to the business category are retrieved to output. And a specific site among the related sites is selected to perform electronic commerce.
