PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of reducing size, simplification and saving space while not requiring to set a paper feed timing between a document and a sheet of recording paper. SOLUTION: A sheet of recording paper S is accommodated with a document D put under the recording paper S in a superposed state in an accommodating means 22, and after carrying means 9, 12 carry the recording paper S and the document D in a stacked state, a reading means 10 reads the document D carried together with the recording paper S. Moreover, the document D which is read by the reading means 10 is separated from the recording paper S by a separation conveying means 13 and the document D and the recording paper S separated from each other are carried to a paper discharge part 18 and an image forming means 2A, respectively.
