PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of a dust collecting machine by lowering the curing property of dust and to facilitate the removal of the dust sticking to the dust collecting machine by incorporating a curing preventive agent which prevents the curing of the dust in contact with liquid when dust collection is executed by bringing the dust containing magnesium into contact with the liquid. SOLUTION: The curing preventive agent which lessens the curing property of the liquid k after the dust collection is incorporated into the liquid when the dust collection is executed by sucking the dust containing the magnesium through an introducing port 2 and bringing the dust into contact with the liquid k of a contact section 4. Namely, the gas e containing the dust generated during the work is sucked into the dust collecting machine 1 from the introducing port 2 by an exhaust motor 6 and is introduced into a housing section 40 through an inflow passage 3. The liquid containing the curing preventive agent is kept filled as the liquid k for dust collection into the housing section 40. Then, the gas e submerges in the liquid k, by which the liquid k and the gas e are brought into contact with each other and the dust is removed from the gas e. The gas e sucked up from the housing section 40 is discharged from an air exit 7 through a discharge position 5 to the outside of the dust collecting machine 1.
