PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early pay out a prize ball according to the winning of a shot ball, while suppressing an increase in the number of winning ball detection means, and to effectively prevent an unfairness according to paying-out of the winning ball. SOLUTION: The number of prize balls paid out by winning is classified according to plural different kinds by being classified into a starting port 34, general winning holes 42a, 42b and a variable winning ball device. According to each kind, winning balls are detected by switches 41a, 41b, 46, 39a, 39b and 38. By paying out prize balls based on the detection, the time taken from the winning to the paying-out of winning balls is shortened. A microcomputer side for game control is made to have a function monitoring whether an abnormality exists in paying-out of winning balls or not. Even if a microcomputer for paying- out control is replaced with an unfairly remodeled one, the abnormality can be discriminated on the microcomputer side for game control.
