PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic type lock device decreasing the size of and increase the output of the hydraulic type lock device, and to reduce the size and the pressure of a hydraulic pressure supply source. SOLUTION: A hydraulic type lock device is constituted such that a booster 7 having a delivery part 6 communicating to a peripheral side hydraulic pressure chamber 5 is provided in a case member 2, an input port 16 supplying input hydraulic pressure from outside to an input oil chamber 15 of the booster 7 is provided, oil is provided such that it is filled in sealed manner in the peripheral side hydraulic pressure chamber 5 and the delivery part 6, the input hydraulic pressure drives the booster 7 to generate hydraulic pressure higher than the input hydraulic pressure in the delivery part 6 and the peripheral side hydraulic pressure chamber 5, and a rod is locked by deforming elastically a thin tube part 4a of a sleeve body 4 to a diameter shrinking side, resulting in an decrease in the size and an increase in the output of the hydraulic type lock device, and a reduction in the size and the pressure of a hydraulic pressure supply source.
