PURPOSE: A method of testing an error of a multi-functional wiring harness is provided to make a worker input, edit, measure, analyze and store a test circuit conveniently by occurrence of an examining signal by a visual tester after input of the test circuit through a visual editor. CONSTITUTION: In a test system, an ISA(industry standard architecture) slot connected with an ISA bus(15) of a PC(personal computer,20) is coupled with a tester(30). The circuit tester(30) is contacted sequentially with a main control circuit(31), a back plane circuit(32), an I/O(input/output) unit(33) and a test jig(34). The main control circuit(31) generates all of the necessary signals for testing operation of a visual tester and a harness and functions as an ISA interface between the I/O unit(33) and the PC(20). A remote function key pad(23) is connected through a cable except a function key pad(22) to help a worker moves smoothly for test.
