PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a fear pinching a hand or the like by providing a side window opening detection means and a door motor-driven opening and closing mechanism control means stopping a door when prescribed opening or more is detected by the opening detection means in the opening operation of a slide door. SOLUTION: A side window 21 for electrically opening and closing a slide door 2, and an opening detection switch 22 inputting a detection signal to the slide door ECU1 when the lowering distance of the side window 21 is 150 mm or more are provided. When an opening operation switch Sw1 and the opening detection switch 22 are turned on, an electromagnetic clutch 7 is switched on, a drive motor 6 forwardly rotates to start the opening operation of the door 2, when it reaches a set stop position, the drive motor 6 is stopped, and the door 2 is held at the stop position. If the side window opening detection switch 22 is turned on even when the door 2 is manually opened and closed, the electromagnetic clutch 7 is turned on when it reaches the prescribed stop position in the opening operation of the door 2, which stops by the braking action. Thereby an accident pinching a hand or a head projected from the side window 21 to the outside of a vehicle in the opening operation of the door 2 can be avoided. |
