PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an under carriage of a foldable wheelchair wherein luggages, or the like, can be loaded on the back side of side frames under an extended state. SOLUTION: Side frames 10a and 10b are moved in the longitudinal direction, and are combined with a slide member 11 which is crossed into a horizontal X-shape, and respective one-end sections of the slide member 11 are pivotally connected to the front end sections of the side frames 10a and 10b, and respective other ends of the slide member 11 are provided movably in the longitudinal direction in a manner to form a housing space 20 extending from an approx. intermediate section to the rear side of the side frames 10a and 10b, and the wheelchair is constituted in such a manner that, when the under carriage is under an extended state, the other ends of the slide member 11 may be located at the approx. intermediate section in the longitudinal direction of the side frames 10a and 10b, and a lock mechanism 30 which keeps the extended state of the pair of the right and left side frames 10a and 10b, is provided.
