NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE FOR BATTERY

PURPOSE: A non-aqueous electrolyte for a battery is provided to improve a high rate, an initial capacity and a charging/discharging cycle of a battery by adding a small amount of vinylene trithiocarbonate or its derivatives to an electrolyte of a secondary lithium battery. CONSTITUTION: An organic solvent of a non-aqueous electrolyte is formed by mixing two and more kinds from cyclic carbonate such as EC(ethylene carbonate) and PC(prophylene carbonate), chain carbonate such as DMC(dimethylcarbonate), DEC(diethylcarbonate) and EMC(ethylmethylcarbonte), and non-aqueous electrolytic solvent including prophylacetate, methylacetate, ethylacetate, butyl acetate. Lithium chloride is added to the organic solvent wherein the lithium chloride is selected from one or two and more kinds from LiPF6, LiClO4, LiAsF6 and LiBF4.
