Air-permeable sheet structural material, leather-like sheet structural material and method of producing the same

Sheet structural material and leather-like sheet structural material which have a porous layer formed by applying a foamed material having a thixotropy index of 2 to 4 and drying the foamed material and a method of producing the same, are disclosed. The foamed material is prepared by foaming a compound solution containing at least a base resin and a filler. The porous layer has open cells and the diameter of the open cells is in the range from 20 to 250 micrometer. The air permeability of the resulting sheet structural material is 3 to 13 cm2/cm3/sec.
