PURPOSE: A replacement type eraser set for a mechanical pencil is provided to maintain an eraser function of the mechanical pencil for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION: A replacement type eraser set installed to a portion of a mechanical pen having a cylinder for accommodating at least a pencil lead and a guide hole for guiding the lead, the erase set comprising a frame inserted into an end of the cylinder and which has at an outer periphery thereof a stopper(14) to get caught at an inner end of the cylinder, a fixed eraser(19) installed at an inner end portion of the frame, and replacement erasers arranged at the other end portion of the frame. The fixed eraser(19) has at a surface thereof a swab member(17) for swabbing the guide hole.
