摘要 PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring a distance is provided to remotely measure the distance between target objects by using an infrared laser having excellent directional and reflective performances. CONSTITUTION: By turning on and off an on/off switch(SW), the power from a power supply unit(11) is converted to a rated voltage via a regulator(12) to drive a control unit(20) in a rear end portion. The control unit interlocked with the rated voltage of the regulator drives an infrared laser oscillation unit(31) to generate an infrared laser. The infrared laser is maximally amplified while passing through a transmission amplification unit(32) and copied to a target object(40) via an infrared laser output unit(33). The infrared laser is transmitted into space and reflected after bumping against the target object. The infrared laser is sensed via an infrared laser reception unit(51) while unnecessary noises included in the infrared laser are removed via a filter(52) in the rear end portion. The infrared laser without noise is maximally amplified by a receptive amplification unit(53) and supplied to a distance conversion unit(61).
