<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactify an air bag, and to reduce its weight and its manufacturing cost by protecting only a portion easily affected by heat and force of gas using a protection ground fabric. SOLUTION: An inside of this air bag 1 is partitioned into the first isolated chamber 31 and the second isolated chamber 32 by an intermediate ground fabric 23. A gas introducing hole 34 is provided in the first chamber 31 and a gas discharge hole 37 is provided in the second chamber 32. The intermediate ground fabric 23 is connected to the first ground fabric 21 by connecting parts 51 provided in four positions, and the first chamber 31 is developed to get flat. Protection ground fabrics 25, 26 for covering the vicinity of the gas introducing hole 34 are provided inside the first chamber 31. The fabrics 25, 26 are seamed to integrate extended parts 25b, 26b provided in four positions with the respective connecting parts 51. The first protection ground fabric 25 is seamed in covering part connecting parts 52 to be located in a gas introducing hole 34 side of the respective connecting parts 51 to form a covering part 53 for covering the gas introducing hole 34 side of the respective connecting parts 51. The respective connecting parts 51 are protected from heat of gas by the covering part 53.</p> |
