PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood reservoir which is decreased in the amount of the blood carried out of the inside of the patient's body and is improved in the recovery efficiency of the blood. SOLUTION: The blood reservoir 1 is constituted by mounting a head cap 5, which closes the upper part of a reservoir case body 3 and is provided with a sucked blood inlet 4 into which the patient's sucked blood is sent, at a reservoir case body 3 of an approximate box shape which is opened in the upper part and is provided with a blood outlet 2 in the bottom. A partition plate 6, which encloses the circumference of the sucked blood inlet 4 in the state of opening one side and lower side, is connected to the rear surface of the head cap 5. The opening on the lateral side and the opening on the lower side of the partition plate 6 are provided with a filter 7 of an approximate L shape in a side view which partitions these openings while permitting the flow of the sucked blood fed into the reservoir body 3 from the sucked blood inlet 4 and executes the filtration of the sucked blood.
