PURPOSE: A private branch exchange(PBX) system is provided to supply a digital PBX service to a remote digital telephone subscriber by using an exclusive protocol and a signal standard, and to extend digital subscriber lines of a PBX connected with a digital telephone by using a two-wire line. CONSTITUTION: A private branch exchange(PBX) system for supplying a digital PBX service to a remote digital telephone subscriber, comprises a digital telephone(1), a PBX(2), a first interface(3), and a second interface(4). The remote digital telephone subscriber uses the digital telephone. The PBX has a digital subscriber line transceiving digital line signals for digital PBX services. The first interface transceives the digital line signals, and performs conversions between the digital line signals and framed data. The second interface transceives the digital line signals, and performs conversions between the digital line signals and the framed data. The second interface is connected with a two-wire line to transceive the framed data from/to the first interface.
