COVER LID SEALING TOOL USED ON MANUFACTURING SEMICONDUCTOR PACKAGE

PURPOSE: A cover lid sealing tool is to improve the productivity by automatically performing sealing process of a cover lid. CONSTITUTION: A cover lid sealing tool comprises a clamp picker(10), a clamp(20), and a vacuum tube(30). The clamp picker has an upper plate(11), and a pair of side plates extended downward from both sides of the upper plate. The clamp has a pair of side guide plates, and is integrally engaged to upper plate of the clamp picker. Since the vacuum tube is communicated with a vacuum pump via a suction tube(31), the vacuum sucked cover lid is freely movable to a respective region of a product line. The side guide plate is engaged to a desired position of a pocket of a ceramic frame by the vacuum suction of the clamp picker. The vacuum tube allows the handling tube to be accurately aligned with the pocket of the ceramic frame.
