PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storing and collecting system for articles, the system of which can perform storage of the articles of a rack device in a cooling atmosphere. SOLUTION: A replenishment room 10 is formed adjacently to storage rooms 3, 6 which perform refrigeration and freezing of articles 1a to 1n, 2a to 2n, respectively, and a collection rack room 20 is formed into partitions adjacently to the replenishment room 10. The collection rack room 20 is provided with a cooling means and a rack device 40. The rack device 40 is so formed that it can be replenished with the articles 1a to 1n, 2a to 2n coming from the storage rooms 3, 6 by positioning the upper side of a slidable article receiving part on the side of the storage rooms 3, 6, and the articles 1a to 1n, 2a to 2n can be removed from the lower side of the article receiving part to the outside of the collection rack room 20. When the rack device 40 is replenished with the articles 1a to 1n, 2a to 2n coming from the replenishment room 10 after coming from the storage rooms 3, 6 for storage, the articles 1a to 1n, 2a to 2n in storage can be cooled by cool air coming from the cooling means.
