PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively suppress the occurrence of ammonia and amines during a composting process, by adding a polymeric substance that forms organic acids to the compost or the composting substance by the decomposition during the composting process. SOLUTION: A high-molecular weight substance that can generate organic acids during the composting process is added to the compost and the raw composting substance (urea sludge, kitchen garbage, food product and the like). The polymer substance to be added is a biodegradable resin, preferably fatty acid ester, fatty acid polyamide, fatty acid polyester amide, poly(vinyl alcohol). The weight ratio of the compost to the polymer substance is 10/90-90/10, when necessary, spawns are added to the composting mixture in an amount of <=40 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the starting substance and, in a preferred embodiment, 100-500 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the starting substance of aeration improver, for example, saw dust is added to the composting mixture.
|
