PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide textile products not causing discoloration, having high safety and showing excellent antibacterial and mildew resistant property by solving problems such as the degradation of the color fastness to daylight in the case of textile products subjected to antibacterial and mildew resistant property-imparting processing and the degradation of whiteness in the case of optically bleached textile products. SOLUTION: When subjecting textile products to antibacterial and mildew resistant property-imparting processing, textile products are processed with a processing liquid containing both zinc salt of bis(1-hydroxy-2(1H)pyridinethionate-O,S)-(T-4) as a antibacterial and mildew resistant ingredient and an ether group-containing compound and/or antioxidant as at least one of auxiliary ingredients. The zinc salt of bis(1-hydroxy-2(1H) pyridinethionate-O,S)-(T-4), and the ether group-containing compound and/or antioxidant are made to adhere to the textile products in a quantity of 0.001-5.0 wt.% based on the weight of the textile product and a quantity of 1-600 wt.% based on the weight of zinc salt of bis(1-hydroxy-2(1H)pyridinethionate-O,S)-(T-4), respectively.
