The invention relates to a gas burner comprising a burner head and burner cap as well as a rotatable injector which is assigned to the burner head and presents a vertical nozzle housing and a gas connection. The aim of the invention is to create a burner for domestic and industrial use which can be adjusted to a very wide range of output settings. To this end the burner head (4) is provided with a recess for an additional simmer burner (14) which is positioned mainly on the outer edge of the burner head, and a wall element (5a) which is assigned to said area and forms a half-chamber is mounted on the cap (5). |
