PURPOSE: A connectionless server having a single cell process path is provided to simply process cells without using a message identifier, and to prevent error operations of a comparator by the message identifier. CONSTITUTION: A cell receiving processor(102) decides whether cells inputted though a physical layer interface(101) are admitted, and decides whether errors are generated through a CRC(Cycle Redundancy Check). The cell receiving processor(102) processes the cells according to the decisions. An address processor(301) translates destination addresses from the cells and stores the destination addresses in a header table(109), and exchanges headers of the cells to output the cells. A cell transmitting processor(106) checks kinds of the received cells to supply the cells to the processor(102), or supplies the cells to the physical layer interface(101), after generating the CRC to record the cells in corresponding areas.
