Telephone apparatus with image screen, displays speaker's image during talking, as video display

The apparatus has a memory for basic static images of the speaker's face. A device recognizes the speaker's expression and detects the necessary speech elements for modifying the face image so as to change the real expression of the speaker. A video code signal of the speaker's face, with its graphical changes, is transmitted to another telephone apparatus. A device displays the face image with the graphical changes caused by processing of the video code signal.
