A bracket(5) is bent at an angle of more than 90 degrees from the body panel(1) adjoining the inside of the roof channel and ending in the overlapping area of the two body panel sections(1,2). The bracket serves as one of the two walls which support the clamping element(4). The vertically positioned bracket extends approximately up to the opening of the channel.
