The fan wheel (12) has fan blades (16) joined to a hub (14) and at least part of which are heatable. The fan wheel can be electrically heated and consists of an electrically conducting synthetic material. The heatable part of the fan wheel has a metal resistive coating and current is supplied via slip contacts (40,42). An Independent claim is also included for a heating or air conditioning system.
