<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance recovery rate of pure water by removing contaminants on the surface of ice efficiently. SOLUTION: The cleaner 31 in an ice thermal storage system comprises upper and lower metal plates 32, 33 passing a cooling tube 12, and a spacer 34 for keeping a constant interval between. Periphery of a through hole in the upper plate 32 passing the cooling tube 12 is bent gently downward, as shown on the drawing, and a through hole in the lower plate 33 is made slightly larger than the through hole in the upper plate 32 so that an ejection opening 35 is defined by the upper and lower metal plates 32, 33. The cleaner 31 ejects cleaning fluid from the ejection opening 35 while moving up and down to remove contaminants on the surface of ice grown on the surface of the cooling tube 12 quickly.</p> |
