PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin battery capable of maintaining high airtightness and having excellent insulation between positive and negative leads. SOLUTION: A battery 1 comprises a power generating element 2, a lead 3 connected with the power generating element 2 with a predetermined part of the lead 3 coated with a resin 31, and a metal resin laminate film. Edge parts of the film, and the edge part of the film and the coating resin 31 are melted and attached with each other so that a battery container 4 for housing the power generating element 2 and the above part of the lead 3 is provided. In this case, an outer layer 31a of the coating resin 31 is cross-linked. |
