PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee the comfortability of a driver and the reliability at all the times by controlling a support torque which is transmitted from an electric servo steering to a mechanical steering system instantly, when the ignition is released or the running is transferred to an emergency running, in a desired condition. SOLUTION: This is the method to control the support torque mmot which is transmitted to a mechanical steering system through an electric servo steering of the vehicle after the ignition is released or the running is transferred to an emergency running, and it is recognized whether the ignition is released or not, or it is transferred to an emergency running or not, and when the ignition release or the transfer to the emergency running is recognized, the support torque mmot is reduced to the minimum value depending on a preset algorithm, or an algorithm selected according to a specific vehicle condition and the circumferential condition. |
